Staff Day participation is really important; this will allow you an opportunity to introduce yourself and EduCash. The more help from staff, the greater the opportunity to reach your goals. Ask to speak at these special days. You will want to ask for help from all the staff so that all seniors will get their FAFSA completed and be one step closer to attending college.
Ask permission to be allowed to speak for a short time at the staff day.
If there is more than one staff day, ask to be involved at each meeting.
Introduce yourself and the EduCash program at the first meeting in the fall semester.
Ask faculty to include references to their college experiences in their daily conversations with students.
Ask all staff to talk to students.
They can talk about how they financed their education and how important financial aid and financial planning was to their having success in college.
Request staff volunteers in EduCash activities to show students how important college is to the whole institution.
Staff being involved in activities and goals of EduCash.
Your enthusiasm and involvement with staff.
Ask staff to reference EduCash in regular conversation.
Distribute hand-outs, or business cards with the EduCash representative information.
Ask staff to provide access to a computer in their classroom that the seniors could use to access EduCash info.
