College placement tests are given to incoming college freshmen to determine how ready they are for college level work in core classes like English and math. About half of U.S. students test below the minimum and are required to take a class to get up to speed. These classes, often called remedial or developmental, cost money but don't provide college credit. Many students say that they would have done things differently in high school if they had only known. Curious how you or your child will perform on their tests?
