when the teacher is teaching to you try your best to pay attention to what she is saying. if it helps take note on key/important things the teacher teaches.
try not to sit near friends
always ask for help
these things help me!!!

Well, you can always do your homework before-hand. Let's say you have an assignment due in a week. Don't procrastinate and do it at the last second. Turn your things in and if you can, possibly do some extra-credit. I hope this helps. (:
