Please, please be careful before you self-publish. There are legitimate self-publishers out there but there are also a lot that run scams and will simply take as much of your money as they can and give you a poor product in return.

You may want to consider finding a writer's group that will read what you've written and offer constructive criticism on what you can do to improve what you've written. They can also often help you find a publisher or at least give good suggestions on where to submit your work.

You might want to try a traditional publisher, but it will require a lot of patience. Right now there have been several successful books written by teenagers, which has made publishers more receptive than they have been in the past. Just make sure that your approach to them is professional. Research how to write a cover letter and what kind of book each publisher publishes.
