If you are asking how to prepare academically for college, then a thorough review of an academic/course plan should be devised in 9th to 10th grade. Most four year colleges would like applicants to have at a minimum four years of English; three years of social, math and science, and two years of a world language. Some colleges also would like applicants to have courses in the fine or visual arts.
