Parents have a right to expect:
- Clear, correct and complete information about the school and the child's progress
- Confidentiality of information about the child
- Clear understanding of the processes to gain access to the appropriate school officials, to participate in decisions that are made and to appeal matters pertaining to her child
- Sensitivity to language and cultural differences (inclusiveness)
- The opportunity to observe the child at school
