The school will teach children how to read, but the environment of the home must teach them what to read. The school can teach them how to think, but the home must teach them what to believe. ~Charles A. Wells

Your health will affect your success at college, just as it would on the job.

But there are ways to pursue a college degree even if you have on-going health issues. Ask college counselors about what accomadations they can make for physical limitations and about taking a lighter load, especially starting out. Also ask how taking a lighter load could affect financial aid if you're not able to take enough classes to be considered full time.

You should tour as many different colleges as possible to get a feel for each one. Look at the campus, cirriculum and any other aspects of the school you're interested in [like foreign exchange programs etc.]. Once you find the right college you'll know because it will feel like the right choice and you won't really second guess yourself. Just make sure to look at all your choices first before settling on the one you'll be spending the next four or so years at!
