How do I get my 3 yr old to use the bathroom at night?

My 3 yr old is potty trained during the day but she doesn't seem to want to get up at night to go to the bathroom, how can I get her to get up and go?

My youngest son was the same way. I started getting him up right before I went to bed, around 11, and walking him into the bathroom. He'd stand there half-asleep, not even knowing where he was, go potty, and then I'd walk him right back to bed. Now he does the same thing, but on his own.

The trick is to get them up before they are too awake, otherwise they start getting whiny and then it's all downhill from there. Good luck to you!
