What types of camps are available for 16 year olds?

It may be late to get into any yet for this summer but not necessarily for all camps. Here is a site that can start your search for camps in your area:

Check with your local community college for possible summer courses that your teen could still get into. They often hold classes especially for high-school students in things such as study skills, career planning, and so on. This is an excellent alternative to "camp" since it continues the learning experience during the long summer break, and keeps kids in the habit of learning. Numerous studies have shown that there is a regression in skills over the summer so kids often start a little being the ball when school starts in the fall.
