My 16-year-old wants to go to camp for the first time this year

but he isn't really interested in any one particular thing. How can I find out what kind of camp would work best for him?

Question applies to ages: 16

Well, in one sense it might not matter. Going to any camp is an opportunity to learn new social and self-reliance skills that helps kids prepare for what's ahead. I'm sure grateful for the camp experiences I had.

So perhaps all you need to focus on is finding a camp that fits your values and budget. Most will give him plenty of opportunities to explore new interests and discover for himself what he likes.
