avatarAnonymous When I have something really hard to learn, I try to explain it to someone else (my roommate, my boyfriend, anyone who will listen). Just talking about a concept helps in two ways: it helps me remember all the pieces and parts to a process and it also quickly reveals the things I DON'T know (and need to find learn before the exam).

For me grades are extremely important. So, I always feel the motivation to study hard for tests and such. However, if this is not the case for you, I would suggest setting aside small chunks of time at night whenever you feel like you'll have the most time and get out the material you need to review. Spending 20-30 min. a night reviewing is better than nothing and once that doesn't seem like such a burden try bumping it up to an hour or so. Something that I do is everytime we get notes [especailly for AP classes] I make notecards for them and just keep flipping through them wherever I go. This way I can be active and study at the same time!
