Is there a certain income level that automatically disqualifies one from getting aid?

I don't want to spend the money to submit a FAFSA form for my son if there's no way he will qualify based on our income.

Question applies to ages: 18

The FAFSA is free, so you're out nothing but your time when you complete the FAFSA (and it's not nearly as complicated as everyone says it is). Most schools won't consider your child for scholarships unless you've completed it.

And I don't think anyone is "automatically" disqualified. You've got nothing to lose and much to gain.
