I'm a professional actor and let me just say that there's no "right way" in this field. Both of the other responders were pretty right on, though. Being an actor is like any other trade - you have to work at it. I still take classes even though I'm a working actor and a teacher.
More than anything else, you have to really love acting, because no matter what you hear from Hollywood, the vast vast majority of working professional actors are NOT making a lot of money. We do it because without it there's just something missing.
So for right now get into as many plays as you can. Go see theater and take classes. If you like, look into theater schools, but most importantly have fun doing it. Because in the end, we do it for the love of performing.
Break legs.

I think it's awesome that you want to be an actress. However it's a tough industry and quite hard to "get in to". So I think it's wise to have a back up plan of something that you would like to do if acting doesn't work out. Still take classes like drama, speech and participate in plays, but just know that you should also take classes that pertain to your back up plan.

Hello. I'm Carlie from your teenquest group.

I happen to know the answer to this question.
You have to sign up for plays at the Flint Youth Theatre.

You have to build up skills in acting to be able to act,
but there is a very rare chanc eyou will make it into this feild successfully. I was in Drama 1 last year and our Teacher, Mrs. Rossie told us about how one of her students took college classes for acting and didn't make it. But no matter what, you should always try your best to acheive your dreams and goals.

Hope i helped!
