I was not able to find any templates for college application essays (although several web sites offer essay editing--for a fee). Personally, I don't think templates are a good thing--a college applicatione essay should be an accurate reflection of the student writing it, and not a cookie-cutter, generic piece of writing. If you follow good essay writing processes (strong thesis, solid supporting evidence, personal voice, focused presentation), you should be able to write an essay that will present you to admissions officers in a positive light.
