I really think you might want to offer more information before someone can answer your question in any kind of satisfactory manner. For example, how old is your child? Has he or she taken/passed driver's ed? Are you going to require the child help you pay for the car? What about insurance, gas, upkeep? Has the child earned the car? Is the car going to be a right or a privilege? Will there be certain rules that your child will have to follow in order to use the car?

I know there are so many things to think about and it can seem pretty overwhelming, but that is also why I can't answer this question without some more guidance. Please help me.
