This may sound a little harsh, but apparently I had the same problem when I was little, then my son did as well. My mom bit me back, not hard (and certainly not hard enough to break the skin), but enough for me to realize that it hurt. I quit biting after that and, when I did the same to my son, he quit biting as well. As I said, it sounds a little harsh, but it seems to work.

I have twin girls and one of them bited the other really hard... so after some research I found the perfect solution is time out( 5 minutes) and before separating them explain to the baby who is biting that is bad...bad...bad...
Takes time...but really works and now she doesn't bite.
