This is something you'd have to discuss directly with them. You want to feel satisfied that the program you sign up for will meet your child's needs and if what they have recommended is too expensive, perhaps a modified program can be set up. But only they can do that for you.

Have you talked about what is available at your child's school? Sometimes there is tutoring or extra help available that is free. I'd be very careful about signing up for so many hours. In my experience learning centers push for a "program" of tutoring, that may be very expensive and more than you need. You should also make sure that you can cancel a program if you find after two or three visits that it isn't what you expect (tutor is helping too many children at once, environment is crowded and noisy, tutor isn't good, etc.). You may also be better off finding the name of a person who does tutoring through the school, who can charge you by the hour, without a long-term contract.
