Most places start taking registrations now (April) and take them until they're full. Here are a few ideas: Look in your local newspaper, which often provides listings of summer activities for kids. Most YMCA/YWCA locations have summer programs. If you're thinking of enrichment activities, check with your school district for summer classes, as well as the local museum and library for their summer programs. Use Google or another search engine to find "Summer Camps" AND "name of your town" results.

Hope this helps!

I had pretty good luck searching on the internet. I googled "Summer Camps Michigan" and had several hits. Then I just looked through them until I found one I liked and thought was suitable for my kids.
