Hi Geeta!

If it's any comfort, two-year-olds can be expected to still cry a lot. The world is pretty new still. Have the teachers given you any indication about when or why he cries? Is it mostly when you leave or does he feel frustration over particular tasks? Is he getting enough sleep? Is he getting enough to eat of foods that agree with him? Does he have allergies?

I'd talk first with the teachers or care providers and ask whether he is crying more than other children his age. If they don't have any answers or suggestions, try talking to your pediatrician.

He's very fortunate to have an observant parent concerned about his welfare.
