Apply for at least one college you know you can get into and put yourself into a position of getting to the college you want as a transfer student. You will want to speak to someone in the admissions office at the school to which you want to transfer, so you can find out what classes to take and what grades you will need. Usually the best classes to start with are writing and math.

There are many post-high school educational opportunities. Junior and community colleges offer associates degrees in a wide range of fields where you don't necessarily need a 4-year degree. If you're interested in a licensed trade - which usually have a pretty good income! -- check with a licensed plumber or electrician or building contractor from the Yellow Pages to see what you have to do to become licensed. Cosmetology school is usually a year or so. So it really depends on what you want to do when you're an adult and for some things, a 4-year degree isn't necessary.

Is it one specific college you are concerned about, or just all colleges? If it is just college in general, don't worry. You can always enroll in a community college, work on getting your GPA up and then transfer to a four college in a year or so.
