Is it too soon? That depends on a number of factors.

First, was your first child born by C-section? Did you have any complications with the pregnancy? Do you have any ongoing health problems like high blood pressure or diabetes? Don't answer those questions here, but do consider them. You should also consider having a checkup by your OB doc and discussing the physical aspects of another pregnancy with them. You should be in the best possible health so you have another healthy baby.

It's already been mentioned that you will have 2 babies very close together in age. That's a challenge, but not an insurmountable one. If your first is a relatively easygoing baby, things won't be too tough. My first wasn't. He didn't sleep through the night until he was over 4 years old. If I'd had another extremely active non-sleeping baby, I'd have been in BIG trouble, but fortunately, the second was much easier. He slept well and fit in easily with our family -- so things can go well too. Mine get along really well and always have. I've never regretted having the 2 of them close together.

This is a very personal decision. You should check out the physical aspects with your doctor or midwife and make sure you and the baby's dad are on the same page on this one.

If this is reported by enough users it will be reviewed and addressed.
