| I think my daughter was about 4 months old when we decided to have our fourth and final child. When Noah came along, Athena had just turned a year. She really didn't like that she wasn't the baby anymore, but was too young to understand what was going on. For me, it was just like having twins with: 2 kids that needed to be carried everywhere, 2 sets of diapers to change. It was hard and sometimes still is, they are five and six right now. I personally would recommend waiting until your child is at least a year before you begin trying again.
It sounds like you are at about that time now. If you think about it, your baby will be a year by the time you become pregnant and nearly two when you give birth. Where, from my experience, 3 years is about the perfect age difference, 2 years is way better than one. I say go for it, but if you are having another baby just to have a girl, well, good luck with that. |
