Dips can make even the healthiest snack look like fun to a wary toddler. To encourage healthy eating for kids, a simple ranch salad dressing and some raw vegetables has always been a favorite snack.

If you feel slightly more adventurous, why not try this:

Peanut Butter Fruit Dip
1/2 cup plain low-fat yogurt
1/2 cup orange juice
1/2 cup peanut butter

In a mixing bowl, blend yogurt, orange juice, and peanut butter until very smooth. Chill.

Makes 7 servings for 3-5 year olds. Serving suggestions for healthy eating diets: apple slices, bananas, strawberries, graham crackers for dipping.
