According to the State of Michigan’s guidelines for well-child visits, at a 12-month visit you should expect:
- an immunization review
- a parent interview
- measurements of your child’s height, weight, and head size
- vision and hearing screenings
- assessment of development, and if problems are detected, further tests of your child’s emotional, physical, social and learning development
- dental inspection
- physical exam, with your child completely undressed.
