For me, one of the best parts of the Digital Disclosures research project has been the conversations with parents, teens and professionals about how the rapidly evolving digital world is changing the way they do things. We're all learning as we go.
It's true of our research project as well. As I've met with leaders to discuss the findings, I've gained new insights into what the research means. One person told me that it was "an eye opener" and that she was going back to her college access program to shake things up. Another said that while he still wasn't ready to do much on the Internet, he thought that "phonecasting" messages to his families would be a really powerful and cheap way to get people's attention.
How about for you? What do the new findings mean for the work you do with families? And what questions are you still seeking answers for as you plan your program's growth? Drop me a comment and let me know.
